Please note, only the latest version of the software is available. The earlier version (which has a red/brown colored interface and prints all report information on a single page) is no longer available and is not distributed for security reasons.
The new software has blue highlights and generates 2 separate reports, one for Arterial and one for Stress. If your software has brown highlights and generates a single report, you can upgrade by purchasing the software we offer.
You can see what the new reports will look like here – https://longlifecardio.com/max-pulse/the-max-pulse-test-reports-detailed/
Important! Your prior patient database might not transfer if you are using older versions of the software. If your existing software is a very old version, the old patient records will not migrate. This often is the case when moving from the old brown single report version to the new blue 2 report version. If this is not a problem for you, simple take the new software and install it. If the old records can be migrated they will be.
If you want to try and preserve old records, we recommend the following steps:
Preserving your older test results.
- Print or otherwise export any reports you wish to have from your existing Max Pulse installation.
- We do not guarantee that you will be able to access your older test results once you upgrade. Some clients have had success by doing the following A. Find the MEDICORE folder on your hard drive. B. Zip this so that your old database is preserved. C. To access these old records you will need to use a different computer. You can unzip the Medicore file and you should be able to read the old records. D. If you have a copy of the old software, installing it on another computer and then copying the database files from the MEDICORE file into this installation will allow you to read your old records. But you must install the old version of the software on a different computer to the new software or they will conflict.
Installing the new software.
- Go to Windows Settings and uninstall your existing Max Pulse software. OPTIONAL: You may wish to leave your existing Max Pulse Software in place. In this case the new software install on top of the old software. Depending on what version you are upgrading from, this may result in all your records transferring. If you chose this method and there are any unexpected errors with names and records, that means there is a database mis-match. You will need to completely uninstall the software, and reinstall. That will give you a clean install of the new software with none of the old Max Pulse test results.
- Install the software from the download provided.
